Greg Schieber
A Southeastern, Minnesota native, Greg moved to Fillmore County and joined Dick Nethercut in his small-town legal practice in 2014. Greg concentrates his work in the areas of real estate transactions, estate planning, estate administration, and income tax. Greg is licensed in both Minnesota and Iowa.
Prior to a career in law, Greg served as a camp counselor at Camp Olson YMCA, lived and worked in Yellowstone National Park as an AmeriCorps volunteer, worked on a ranch in the Sunlight Basin near Cody, Wyoming, spent time as a freelance journalist, and served as a Camp Director at a family camp on Cass Lake in Northern, MN. Greg spent his most formative years growing up and working on a dairy farm. As a result of this upbringing, Greg possesses a particular interest in the success and vitality of small family farms and rural communities. Greg spends most of his free time working with his wife, Jenica, to maintain and improve their homestead in Fillmore County’s “Big Woods.” They have four children, a small fold of Scottish Highland beef cattle, numerous chickens, ducks, turkeys, and cats, and a Great Pyrenees named Ruby to watch over them all. With what little free time is left, Greg plays fiddle in a duo called “Main Street Harmony” and is an occasional contributor to the Root River Current.
Greg combines his passion for solving problems and experience in providing quality customer service to fill his role as a legal advocate. He is eager to work with you to effectively and efficiently resolve your legal issues.
